    I have noticed on some pictures of the 8900 that the 1-0 keys and a split color, black bottom and white top. It sure made the numbers stand out better than the all black with red. It's too bad RIM did not go with the higher contrast version.

    I'm personally a fan of the red numbers. I think they look slick

    I can usually type by touch, so the color doesn't make any practical difference most of the time.

    Yeah I actually like the red numbers too and prefer them to a higher contrast setup

    I LOVE the red color on the numbers! I was dissapointed that the Bold didn't have the red distinguishing color...but, I suppose that's ATT's way of "being different."

    Indeed and the rumored 8900 for ATT will sport white keys as well.
