    Just screwed up, HELP...

Ok, so I just went through desktop manager and switched all of my contacts from my 8300 to my 8310. That was a success.

I tried to send an e-mail to my phone, now it won't come through. Also, previously when I'd delete an email off my phone, it would ask "on handheld" or "on handheld and in mailbox". Now it doesn't.

Do I need to resynchronize my mailbox or something?? Help a brother out please!!

    Silv....dude! You're okay, man!

You didn't use the Device Switch Wizard, did you?

Do you have a BIS account set up? If so, you'll need to go in there and change your PIN and IMEI numbers, resend service books and you'll be cool.

You'll definitely need to reset your reconciliations, however on the device. Do you know how to do that?

To get the delete off handheld or mailbox option back goto your messages then goto options then email reconciliation, then select your email address.

To make sure your emails go throught, resend your service books and your host routing table

To resend host routing table goto Options>advanced options>host routing table

Post back if you need more help

    Thank you, Mr. McConnell!

Silv, did you get your e-mail issues straightened out?

Mr. McConnell showed you how to do it from your phone, but through the BIS you'll see an option to Change Devices. Go in there and enter your new PIN and IMEI numbers which you'll find in Options>Status.

Then click on Service Books and resend.

Once you go through the BIS stuff, you should then see it on your phone.

As i sit in front of my desktop, i'll send myself an email. It won't come through on my bberry. I did receive a notice of sucessful set up of my account though after I sent in the "books" from the BBerry site.
