All I have to say is WOW... the resolution was the first thing that stood out... simply amazing. The trackball is much more seamless than any other BB I have had! Good thing I went to the retail store and stood outside until it was open because 5 minutes after it did open, a huge line of about 15 ppl amounted. Apparently the retail stores carry only 5 at a time...

I have to study for an organic chemistry exam and then I will mess with the phone much more, but WOW first impression is just WOW... a definite upgrade in every way...

It's torture having to study knowing I can't play with my new toy...

They charged me 299 + 23 in taxes.. 100 in mail in rebate... so I left out the door at $323.

    Nice

Was at the store at 9:30 just in case. Opened at 10:00 and I was the first in..shortly thereafter a few more people showed up and they only had 5 in stock. I was out the door in 15 minutes and let me say this phone is AWESOME!

Screen is sharp as a razor and even though I was one of the people who was bumming about the lack of 3G, I will say the browser speeds are not far off. The plus is the wifi and the fact that 3G is a battery sucker and this baby is holding a nice charge so far![/FONT]

Congrats to all of you on the new devices. But spwb, 3G isn't too bad of a battery sucker. My 8330 lasts quite awhile and I'll be using it most of the day.

$211.00 out the door today about two hours ago. They gave me my rebate instant since I wasn't eligible for a full upgrade. T-mobile worked with me since over the last year I have sent back 7 8320's yes that number is correct. Most of the refurb's were bad. Haven't had time to play with mine yet, just admiring my new baby (until the wife gets home, then I will have to hide her like a mistress...lol

The guy said he couldn't give me an instant discount... I would have loved that because the tax would be less! How did you guys get them to do it in store like that?

No I have the full upgrade... it's just that they don't give you the instant discount.. it's a mail in rebate.. so the price of the phone is really a lil over 200 (taxes).

You have to be real friendly to your store reps. They will help you out as much as they can. The fact that my immediate family as a whole has 8 lines with t-mobile, shucks I thought I should be able to get it for almost nothing. But the instant rebate was great!
