Post Just bought a Curve for $250. Good deal?

I bought a Curve today from eBay for $250. It is a used AT&T phone, and looks pretty good except for a scratch on the back and a minimal scratch on the bottom of the LCD screen (doesn't bother me any).

It comes with the leather magnetic holster and the standard equipment (apparently the holster is not standard, and the one in the auction is one from his new 8320).

    Is this a good deal?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i have a pearl that I bought brand new from my dealer for less than that. I'm no expert, but something tells me that it wasn't a good deal. I dunno what do you guys think?

They range in price depending on what comes with it. You can buy a refurb through at&t while extending your own contract $99.00 or you can buy a new with-out contract for $200-$300. Leather holster is usually around $20.00. Hope you like your curve. I know I like mine..

You can buy a new Curve 8310 or 8300 for free on Amazon. Of course, you must also get a 2-year service contract with ATT. But there is certainly value in getting a phone without contract, as is the case in your purchase.

I am on T-Mobile so I am having it unlocked when I get it, so it's definitely not with a contract.

It comes with: magnetic belt clip holster (the one with the top magnet strap), headphones, wall charger, USB cable, CD, manual and original packaging.

well right now an 8310 at my dealer is 239 with an upgrade... without it is 400... not a great deal considering you got the 8300 but not terrible either.

In the original post yoou said it was the OEM from the 8320, if that is the cse it is not a holster, but a pscket pouch that has the sleeper magnet, but has no belt clip and no top magnetic strap.

Iwould say not such a good price as it ca be gotten new for lessor the same without the scratches, but I am anal about those things (if not unlocked even higher as you will need to pay to get it unlocked, unless you have an account with Suncom or AT$T and then you may get it unlockd for free (I say these providers as they are the only ones who released th 8300, and Suncom released very few and then changed to the 8310).

Without a contract, but with a few accessories that are actually useful, yeah I'd say it was a good deal.

now that you have your phone I would take a look at the stickies under the curve forum. there's a lot of good information there. there are also a lot of themes for the curve under the multimedia section. And don't forget to take a look at the downloads!
