    .rem means that the pictures are encrypted by the blackberry
    Under Options>Security options>General settings>Disable content protection

    solution for .jpeg.rem: okay, after disabling content protection, (Options - Security Options - General Settings - Disable Content Protection), make a new folder in your Media(pictures or video), then move all your files that were encrypted... All your .jpeg.rem files will bacome .jpeg files....
