So I took the plunge to 4.5 too but I guess I'm not too lucky. My opera mini doesn't work. My flash aka you tube doesn't work. My video recording doesn't work. You can record videos but you can't save them or even close the program. And that was the reason I upgraded. I love how fast it is though. You think I should re-install the OS or is there anything ielse I can do without going thru the whole installing process again. Its a bit tiring...

It seems like a few people are having problems with flash (me included). So, would that be helped by a hard reset or not? I'll try later tonight. Expect an update in an hour!

I am pleased (and somewhat surprised) to announce that, after a hard-reset, youtube works again! I was NOT expecting it to fix that easily!

Well, I would guess you are gonna need to wipe it, the re-install again, but I am by no means an expert, so definitely wait for RoGro to give his opinion!

I'm not an expert, by any stretch of the imagination!

Have you tried the infamous battery pull, munkee? All the things you describe are what SHOULD be working with the release you installed.

If all else fails, you might want to do the complete wipe with a fresh install of the OS afterwards. Here's the link:

I don't know what to tell you... It doesn't make sense... Sorry I'm no help, but I hope you can get it fixed. Are you positive the OS matches your model # exactly?

Your solution may be easier than you thought.

I read in a post somewhere that you should copy all of the stuff on your media card and re-format it for your newly upgraded unit. It would make sense that you wouldn't be able to save a new video if your unit was having an issue with your media card.

Greetings all! This is my very first post in pinstack but i've been meddling around this place for a couple weeks now. Downloaded a few themes, some cool apps, and finally got up the nerve yesterday to upgrade my OS to 4.5.0.52 on AT&T 8310. One question though...how do you watch youtube videos on this thing? That would really make my Bberry experience complete! Thanks for any help offered.
