I still use the default BB Browser and it works great for me. The one thats probably the most popular is opera mini. Heard lots of great things about it.

Compared to the built-in browser, I've just found Bolt to be the same as OperaMini - too bulky, slower, harder to navigate. For some reason on my 8310 the new Bolt browser made my trackpad respond slow and choppy. I had a really hard time making it land somewhere so I could click. 3rd party browsers can keep trying, but I'm with Boomer. I'm sticking with the homegrown.

There's the bolt and opera mini... If you tweak the settings just right on the opera mini, it actually becomes easier to use... Although I must add that the trackwheel isn't as responsive in either third party browsers ( bolt or operay... 99% of the time I always use the built in browser... But it has a download limit... Opera doesn't... Not sure if you'd need that...

With all its shortcomings, I still end up using the native browser. I much prefer it's tight integration with the OS, and frankly Opera just feels sloppy.

Bolt just became available to the general public, and it is amazingly fast, but again it lacks the tight integration with the OS that the BlackBerry browser has.

That said, I have all three on my Bold for those VERY RARE occasions that the BlackBerry Browser just doesn't cut it with a specific site.

Same here. There are a few sites that bb browser just chokes on. For those occasions I keep Opera or bolt.

Been using Opera Mini all day. Hate it, just to slow and choppy. I think I will stick with my berry browser for now. It seems to work the best and fastest also.

    Thanks for your advice,

what i like about Opera Mini is that you can view sites with desktop view, and it has the zoom square were you can select were you want to zoom in, the BB browser has something similar but the display is better in opera mini on some sites

but still BB browser is better for streaming sites like moodio and youtube

Where the bb browser fails... Hello opera... And possibly hello bold...
