    Installing small app, why all BB code auto-reinstalls??

    I just want to add a small 3rd party application, why is it that EACH time I do this my app loader reinstalls the core stuff again?

    frustrating

    it's not really reinstalling your core stuff. i don't know why it lists it. i think this is only happening with DM 4.7

    When you go to the "next" part after selecting what you want to do doesn't it list ONLY the aps you selected. I didn't stay on 4.7 very long so I don't know the answer because of other problems - went back to DM 4.6.

    it actually lists it too jb...but it doesn't reinstall it.

    ...you mean all the OS, etc., Cat? If so that's odd...and a glitch in DM. That is very confusing and another reason to suggest staying of DM 4.6 IMO.

    But if the process ISN'T reinstalling the core OS, then why does my fonts, background img & inbox contents get blown-away?

    hi steve,

    If you are using desktop manager 4.7 you may want to try 4.6 and see if that works better for you...

    I vote with Gary on going to 4.6. The strange things that users are reporting about it, plus my own very brief experience with DM 4.7 lead me to believe it isn't quite "ready" to go.
