    The last time I upgraded I just opened up the dm and it detected it what's going on with the vodofone os why won't install.

    I recently had the same problem. I completely uninstalled the DM and reinstalled, reconnected and not only did my back up happen, but the OS upgrade installed as well.

    Two questions:

    1. Did you delete the vendor.xml file?
    2. Did you remove the other 4.5 OS(s) from your PC?

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i did remove thw other os. Now where would I go to remove the vendor.xml file. I have been looking for it.

    On your PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader. Should be at the bottom of the list.
