    Inquiry & Annoyance.

Inquiry: I've searched this site, along with a couple of other to see if there is a app for the 8330 that is like a "City ID", in a sense. Where it tells you location of the said number at hand. -- So, anyone know of/where something like this, that actually works can be found?

Annoyance: After watching a video, or two of my own, that I recorded from my phone. The device decides to reset itself. Anyone else have any issues/problems with this? If so, is it a software issue, or what?

There's a free application (Berryacode) that will tell you the city and state of incoming phone calls - the .zip DL is here: http://207.228.235.239/berryacode.zip. That can be helpful over the "normal" BB caller ID info that displays when you get a call from someone in your contact list. Hope that helps.

I don't know about the watching video/rebooting problem.

Hey J. That link you posted is the zip file not OTA.

Ok guys I did some searching and actually found a link to the OTA file. But it was dead. That app is no longer being put out OTA. So whether or not that .zip that J put up works, that's the only way you'll probably get it.

As far as the video/reboot problem, are the videos MP4's and what does your memory look like while you watch them? Also do you think you might have a bad memory drain that makes the phone reboot?

Appreciate the responses. - Yes, I've come across Berry-a-code. And as of late, I haven't been around my computer. So, was hoping to have an actual working OTA link. But, thanks anyways.

The vids are MP4s. They're recorded with the device. My memory is just fine, as I have a 4gb MSDC in the device.
Idk if I might have a bad memory drain. Never heard of the term. So, how do I check it/for it?

Oops, sorry. You're right and I haven't tried to DL it in a long while - I've had it on both my BB's for months. Maybe someone could try it out and see if it still DL's and works and post back if not. (I'll correct my other post.)

I downloaded it a couple months ago and it still worked, so I'd imagine it will now.

It's also guaranteed to prevent you from getting incoming calls so you can see how it works. don't you hate that?

As for programs running in the bg..well, there aren't any. I close them all out after I'm done with 'em. So, assuming there shouldn't be any.
