Sorry to hear this and welcome to PinStack. When you say you rebooted, did you do a hard reset? That is physically taking the battery out for 30 seconds then reinstalling it? If not, try that. Post back and we will go from there.

I know you read the old thread about themes, but i doubt that's the issue anymore.

Download an app to your PC called BBSAK, which you can get here: www.bbsak.org

Connect your device to the PC and launch BBSAK. You'll be asked to enter a password, which if you don't have one, simply click OK.

Hopefully your device will be recognized by BBSAK. If it is, you'll see a tab that says "Modify CODs" Select that, then press "Read System" All the apps, themes COD (program files) will appear on the right side of your screen. Find the app you downloaded, highlight it, then press "Remove COD(s)" This will delete the app, and your device should reboot like normal.

Wait, so you've connected your device and launched BBSAK? Please provide your exact steps so we know what's happening.

    I'm confused.

This is what you should have done:

    1. Install BBSAK.
    2. Connect your device.
    3. Launch BBSAK.
    4. Click on Modify CODs.
    5. Click on Read System.
    6. Once the files load on the right of the screen, find the app (will have .cod on the end of it) you want to delete and click ONCE on it.
    7. From the left of the screen select Remove COD(s) and this will delete the app and reboot your device.

It almost sounds like his device doesn't boot up far enough for java loader to control your BB. I would suggest boot your device in safe mode, (follow the link provided for step by step guide) your device OS must be newer the 4.6 to preform a safe mode boot. Once booted in safe mode try removing the application in question either by the device or by using BBSAK. If the safe mode boot does not work I would suggest do a fresh install of your OS.
