    Welcome to PinStack, dezir!

So you've set up a hotmail account to come to your device? Did you do this through the Setup Wizard on the device or the BlackBerry Internet Service?

    Who is your carrier?

    Roger

Okay, well here is where you can log into the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS), which is essentially the same as the Setup Wizard, just on a PC or laptop. Here you can add new e-mail accounts and even change your BlackBerry e-mail address if you so choose.

Generally, though, when you create an account in either, your username then becomes part your BlackBerry e-mail address, ie, dezir@sprint.blackberry.net, or whatever the case may be.

I don't use the Setup Wizard on the device, so am not very familiar with it.

Did you actually create an e-mail account by that name? Is there an e-mail folder on your device for that account or any account with the sprint.blackberry.net suffix? Scroll over the mail icons and the folder/e-mail account name will show along the bottom of the screen.

Did you set it up from the device or BIS?

You might need to resend your service books. You can also re-register the device by going to Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table. Once you're in there, press the BB menu button (to the left of the trackball and select Register Now.

My husband has the Sprint 8350i and also has problems receiving email. He has had his phone replaced and into the service centers and it still doesn't work properly. I think it's a networking or software issue. Good luck to you. I have talked to the Sprint reps more times than I care to. On a positive note, if you call and complain they will credit you the email svc for that month. However, it doesn't take from the frustration of having a phone that doesn't work right
