    I'm leaving at&t...got a question for T-mo

I'm not going to be working for at&t anymore. I got a job for Verizon Landline (DSL and Fiber Optic) paying me twice as much. I know that T-Mobile offers lower rate plans, which would be nice...But I love at&t's coverage in my area. I know that I've been gung-ho for at&t the last few months, but now I just don't know. I live in a Metropolitan area, so I'm sure that coverage would be pretty much the same.

What I really want to know is:

Is Unlocking the Curve really worth it?...from the sounds of things, you guys are having some troubles with internet and all that

TMO will have the curve eventually, and all the little issues people have using the curve on TMO will go away. I say go for it if coverage is comparible where you live. Saving moolah is always good.

It's simple to just use the O2 OS and everything works fine. However, I will be upgrading when TMO finally gets the curve, hopefully with WIFI.

That's what I figured. I do know that there are a few spots out where my friends live where T-Mo doesn't get service...but normally when I'm out there I don't want phone calls anyway...but in those cases where my family needs to get a hold of me...

That's what i'm saying if all things are virtually comparible what's the incentive to change? Money right. An extra 10.00 a month cheaper. If TMO gets poor service where you need the phone the most and ATT does not then 10.00 more per month is meager compared to not being able to use the phone.

and the whole "My Fave's" thing...how exactly does that work, cause most the people I know are on mainly at&t or Verizon...

(I know I could go into a store and ask this stuff, but I'd rather get info from people I know I can trust )

Any five numbers from any company, landline or cellular and you get unlim calls to and from them, any time, anywhere in the USA. You cqan change them once every calendar month, and when you do the mins get prorated to compensate.

Depends on the plan. The theory is that you use 60% of your mins calling the same 5 people so you should not need as many mins.

here is the link to the PP's http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans/

Depends. If you talk ALOT you may want to add it on. it's like 6.99 or 9.99 but as i said the idea is that if you say have 600 mins and 60% of it is used to the same 5 people then your min usage would drop to 250 or so.
EDIT: double checked Mob2Mob is 6.99

    Re: I'm leaving at&t...got a question for T-mo

Hmm...now that I think about it...I do really only call about 7 people...

...no way to get more than 5?? Probably not, I guess I could cope with 5 people being free...

and not getting random calls from customers...that would be nice!

Something like that I guess. I've never noticed, cause no one I know has Tmobile anyway.

Probably cause you are in the carolinas and TMO does not have any coverage there. At least the last time i was down there.
