    I Need Help!!!

    Ok so I installed the Optus OS on my curve. I removed PTT and now have unlocked themes. At some point my BB decided to stop receiving emails. Nor can I BB message someone. I cant even add anyone to my BBmessenger...anyway I have tried battery pulls, service book delete, host routing table. at &t customer service...Now my email accounts are no longer even showing up on my phone. I try to send myself a test email and it says error that I dont have any messaging services configured. At & t is saing it might be a sim card problem but for some reason i doubt that. the email icons disappeared after I deleted and resent my service books. of course I also have some other ridiculous icons that now appear...anyway to make matters worse I do not have the DM installed at my job(where I am currently at) and I am getting pissed. Should I take my sim card out and wipe my phone? please help.......

    Did you push your email service books from your BIS site? It's different than registering the handheld to get service books.

    I did that. I just took my sim card out and put it in my 8700 and everything is working fine. I looked at my service books on my 8700 and looked at the ones on my curve and I notice they are completely different well some of the, anyway....

    on my 8700 everything works like it used to..perfect...my curve however is on its own program I cant send email , cant recieve email..my icons for my emails dont even exist on my curve. i cant access the internet. i cant do anything

    Are you sure you pushed from you BIS site??? Try deleting all of your service books< and trying again, I'll go get Cherri.

    ok, what were you trying to do? upgrade to the Optus OS?
    where did you download it from? i understand the whole DM issue, but if you are going to have a BB, you have to have a working computer close, for instances like this. your frustration will only make it worse

    what did you remove/replace? what do you mean 'at some point'? does that mean that you were receiving emails after the upgrade, but shortly after, stopped, or do you mean you haven't been able to receive them since? please clarify. i prolly have some more questions, but lets start with those.

    I am off work now...but I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge
    I upgraded the optus os....after that I recv'd a few emails then no more...then i noticed my BB messenger was not working either. I deleted every single service book except the one that cant be deleted. i resent them and did a battery pull and registered the host routing table....no luck
    i have some things to do and wont be back online till about 8:45 cali time. thank u guys in advance for trying to help me resolve this...

    I might say to downgrade to a more stable version, or maybe a wipe and re-install? What OS are you using Cherri?

    No the dm isn't on my work pc. Tried to download it but no admin priveleges. fyi I'm on my 8700. Ill try to contact u b4 11~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
