Okkkkkk so here we go! All you have to do is download telus navigator, load it up, use it once, cancel the subscription and then the gps in google maps as well as bb maps works! Somehow it kicks the gps into high gear and it works great!!

You guys do know that navigator gives you 30 day trial right? Even after cancceling subscription, the gps connections remains active untill the end of the month! If you read what it says, it clearly mentions that! So there you have it, I don't think there is a working fix for this yet, I tried gpsed, but that did not work

it is an internal app to telus wap site. I don't know what it would do to a verizon BlackBerry...

Here is the link. and the jad file. I doubt this will even work...

If you break your BlackBerry or think you might. Do not load it on it.

    Back up your device.

Have your friend do it first...

Will it fix your problem... Probably not.

Will it enable GPS on a Verizon BlackBerry... Probably not...

    You've been warned. Good luck!
