In my case that is a waste of money. Average life expectancy of a BB in my care is about 3 months.

hehe....yea I almost crapped in my pants when I dropped it.

And benritmeyer, covering the 8900 with a skin hides the beauty of the device
I just use my old Curve's cases.

At least the skin can hold the BB together if the screws have fallen out!
    I have a BlackBerry and a WhiteApple. :)

    ~via 8120 (wap.pinstack.com)~

I go along with everyone else. I got skins with my 8100. I regret not getting them for the 8120. I will be getting them for the flip.

Indeed Skins are amazing for people that drop their devices and for accidents.

Skins work when they're actually ON the bb... However, when you're removing your bb from the leather pouch and preparing to put the skin on it, it's best not to drop it onto a tile floor

Yeah, that was me about 3 weeks ago. **Shakes head in shame**

My Bold is now sporting a very nice black scratch/chip on the top of the silver bezel (bugs the crap outta me) but otherwise works like a charm; the sceen and the rest of the device came away unscathed thank goodness. I guess the next step will be to replace the trim. I wish my Otterbox Defender case didn't bug me so much 'cause that's what my Bold needs for protection from ME!
