    How's your 8300's battery life?

Just wondering how everyone's battery life is on their new curve? With heavy usage throughout the day I am at about 1/4 of my battery left. I made a few calls today but mostly doing jivetalk, email, and opera browsing. Is this normal or should I be getting better battery life?

I find that being logged in with Jivetalk sucks my battery life quite a bit. Without it, with fairly heavy email and listening to about 1 hour of music a day, I can get a couple days.

Mine is actually great, better than my 8700. I listen to my music full blast on speaker a lot and the battery bar barely budge, I also get a lot of email and sms and use bbmessenger and jivetalk a lot.

Mine really sucks actually. I had two instances where the I charge the battery before I got o bed to a full charge. then turn off my device and when i wake up in the morning it is completely dead...Unless I have some bb demons that play with my bb all night long

Listening to music on the way to work and back. Several emails throughout the day. Browsing the web at lunch. Googletalk and Viigo running constantly. Then heavy usage after work while I drink coffee. And I can kill the battery really quick. I have to charge every night, or my alarm won't go off in the morning. It really the music playing and vibrate mode that kills it.

Jivetalk all day, heavy messaging, some e-mail, a few hours Bluetooth, and lots of poker will usually take me down to about 20-25% battery life, but I usually forget to use suspend mode when I put my Curve in my deskstand. When it's in and out of my case, I can get 2 days or so out of it.

I feel that battery life is

My old 8700 was holding me for a week. If I don't plug the Curve everyday it will die.

In the begining it seemed like the battery life SUCKED...but over time, it actually seems to be getting better. However, I am a fanatic about charging...I can drive to MicyD's (literally one block away) on lunch break and I will charge it! LOL!

My battery doesn't seem to fully charge - even after being plugged in all night I still only show 3 of 4 battery bars. Any ideas why?

Ya I feel like I need to charge mine every day. I'm thinking I should stop it from vibrating for a lot of the alerts. I think vibrate takes a lot out of the battery.

Look into getting a holster with the magnetic proximity sensor, too. It suspends your BB any time it's holstered. That should help extend your battery life considerably. If you don't want a holster, just hold the Mute button down a few seconds to suspend it manually.
