It can be used as a phone for sure...

If you get their wap settings, you'll probably be able to doi browsing...

Most bb apps like messengers will not work though, because they can't be configured to use the apn settings.

Any software than can use the apn settings will work...

Needless to say, there will be no bis or bes...

    But some things can work...

Technically it should. You may have to manually configure the sms center number etc... May have to call up boost and get that info...

Did you try using their ota setup service. I remember once when I had boost they made me do an ota to update my phone system it may do the same trick for the bb but not sure I was using a i710 then

I don't have either Boost nor a GSM device, but I am a bit confused about how a GSM device will work with an iDen network. I am right, Boost is iDen isn't it?
    As Always...

    Happy Berrying!!
