I thought I saw that you can play the mp3 music on a car stereo or home stereo wireless from the 8300 Curve. Is that true? How?

If the curve had an fm transmitter you could. Not sure it does though. Maybe with BT?

I have an adapter that came with my MP3 player. The change to the 3.5mm jack allows me to use that with my Curve. It sounds great even though the adapter is of a cheap quality. You can pick one of these adapters up for $20 or less, maybe as low as $10.

what you're talking about (i think) is the bluetooth capabilities to play wirelessly... works great with any Bluetooth enabled radio -

I use the a headphone jack thing that plugs into the cigerette lighter. You just tune your radio into that station. Works great!

Discovered something interesting yesterday on the way home, if you have a BT headset and you have an FM transmitter plugged into the device, you have to unplug the FM transmitter before answering a call. The call interupts the music fine but the device thinks you have a wired headset plugged in and will not send the call to the BT. If I unplug the fm transmitter it works fine. Otherwise it rings in the BT and I can answer with the BT but I can't hear the conversation and they can't hear me.

Re: How to play wireless on car stereo?

Sorry for kind of going off topic, but is there anyway to have a phone call play through my car stereo? My car has an aux jack, so I can listen to mp3s fine. However when I try to make a call, it doesn't go through the speakers but rather through the handset.

Yeah, even if I were to make it work, there would be no microphone. However, I'm planning on making a custom wire by snipping the ends of the wired headset and soldering a jack to that end. If anybody can leave me any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
