How much free memory do you have on your phone?

I just got the 8310 and I deleted all of the languages I didn't need, the Sample Video and TTY support (what is this?)...and I installed Telenav. I only have about 23 MB left over right now... is that normal?

I hear problems start popping up around 12MB or below. I'm around 26MB on mine and I do a battery pull once a day. Never had problems with my Curve.

26mb? How did you get it up there, and what do you have installed?

...I was looking around and there is a sample song in the media on the phone...is there a way to delete this?

I've got a lot of apps installed and have a little over 16mb free. I just dumped 2 apps yesterday, my BB was acting very laggy.

The thing is, the phone runs all of it's applications off of the device memory. If the memory starts to get low, little problems will start popping up (IE text messages deleting themselves).

I deleted the sample video and all of the default wallpapers. I also got rid of PTT I believe, and all of the foreign languages.

How were you able to get rid of PTT and all the default wallpapers?

I have 25844917 bytes free which is about 25-26mbs. I just cleaned out all the crap I dont need and also deleted a few of the themes that I will never use and I am fine with that. I have 2 custom themes as well as about 6 3rd party softwares installed.

It resets your BB. Foe example: if you delete an application, you will not regain the lost memory, until you do a battery pull or soft reset.
