How Much File Free on 8900??
As we all know, RIM didn't short us with available memory on the 8900. It's my opinion that all the new devices(Storm included) should have 256MB for applications. This device is wonderful, and so fast. The extra available memory allows the device to run much more smooth and much faster.
With 200 Addy book entries, 55 calendar entries, and the following apps:
BlackBerry Attachment Service
All the games
I have 151MB file free! Is that not totally awesome or what? RIM sure did a nice job on this one. Post your file free below and let's compare.
Well, before mine decided to stop working, I had about 117MB free after installing about 11 apps. Hopefully I'll have it working again soon.
You all are lucky. I only have 64 MB of space on my phone (that's the total amount of space available on the 8120). I have much less free space (from 5-18 MB) thanks to the apps I have loaded.

"Am I Javelicious for you??"
Delete stuff you don't use (applications, themes, and games), old messages, and clear the event log, browser cache, cookies, pushed content and history.

the lack of memory on older devices proves better than the large amount of memory and quality of newer device
