For the clearing memory keystroke, what is the affect? Can you choose what you want to wipe? Or is it a clean dip in the fountain of youth?

Here's a copy and paste tip someone just posted in another thread.

    Copy:
Press Cap Lock and scroll over text. Press Cap Lock again, then press track ball. Copied!
    Paste:
Go to area you want to paste in. Press Cap Lock, then press track ball. Pasted!

Another one for clearing memory that I use a lot is holding the ALT key and typing L G L G.

Also to see what applications you have running hold the ALT key and press the back button. Then scroll to whatever you want.

Just wanted to say thanks for that bit of info. I kept wondering why my berry ran a little slow at times...seems I had a few apps open that I didn't know I had left open! I think I may have found a new best friend!

    Useful Tip

This isn't really a shortcut but I have assigned the profile app to the left convenience key. In my job I change from vibrate to loud to phone only at various points during the day and find this easier than scrolling through to find the icon.

Does anyone know how to keypad lock with a simple button shortcut? I don't like scrolling my keylock icons all the time.

i found that holding the mute key and putting the phone in standby mode works better for me because when in keylock mode the keys can still be pressed and screen comes on but in standby mode no key works except for the mute key
