...that holding the up and down volume button will go to previous and next track while in 'now playing' mode? I just found that out by accident. Is there a superthread of shortcuts and features that users have found?

There are a few threads that list all BB shortcuts, tips, and tricks. There is one that has them all from the beginning of BB time. I'll try and post a link if no one does in the next few minutes.

This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.

Lol yeah. There are a lot of small things to learn. My favorite option I learned about recently would have to be viewing signal strength in numbers. You know. From the home screen hold "alt" and press "n" "m" "l" "l". Same to switch back. Mine is -91dBm.

Does the 8703e even have enough memory to put mp3s? I owned the the phone before on BES and I couldn't find a way to upload more music to the phone.

It worked on my favorite 2 BB's of all time, the 7100t and 7105t, which ran 4.1.

Another one for clearing memory that I use a lot is holding the ALT key and typing L G L G.

Also to see what applications you have running hold the ALT key and press the back button. Then scroll to whatever you want.
