How do i manage contacts in computer without using outlook

    Hi,
There is a possibility of using a .txt or .csv ascii file for transferring contacts from PC to BlackBerry... I have tried it but I receive an error message like (because I have mine in Spanish) "It is not possible to read data from applications".
Could somebody please help me write the ascii file correctly so the transfer from PC to BlackBerry can be successfully accomplished?

    Regards.

If you have a .csv file upload to an email client such as Gmail and download Google Sync. Once sync is downloaded run it and it will synce that .csv file you uploaded to Gmail to your blackberry address book. There are other email clients that support syncing to blackberry as well. This is the way I did it when I first got my bb.

    Thank you jrhorner71!

I'll try with Google sync... and let you know how it went.

I second jr. I have done this to upload all my contacts to google. Now I sync with Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Nokia. Kudos to Google
