Is there a way to add your name or so when sending your text or mms? Other than typing it in. I have had texts from people. Who had personalized sigz on the bottom. Ok thank you

Texts (SMS) or emails? Email sig's are edited from your BIS page.

And to add to Gary's statement, you can add an AutoText entry if you didn't want it on every message and then you could just type the characters you entered in the AutoText for it to display the sig. Plus consider, if you add "sig" in a SMS, it counts towards the # of characters you can type in the message.

Signatures on the BIS page are for emails only.

Another way is to type it in the "Owner" section of the options menu. Under "information", type your sig, save and you're done.

The owner info has absolutely nothing to do with a signaturem that's only you info or what you decide to put and it shows when you lock your key pad. Not in you singnature on a text.

Put your sig under "information" in the Owner menu and see what you get. I never said "owner info", I said under "information". READ BEFORE YOU POST!!

Drew, in option, under owner you have name and information. That is in fact the info that is displayed when your phone is locked. It has nothing to do with an email signature or text signature. Are you referring to something different?

That is correct but piccopower was asking about putting the sig in sms text and MMS. I was just giving him another alternative. Of course the sig in your email would have absolutely nothing to do with Option-->Owner menu.

So where is the information you are talking about that adds a signature to sms and mms?

Go to Options-->Owner-->it's not necessary that you enter a name but go down to information and type your sig and save. Go to SMS and type in sig and from then on whenever you type sig in your SMS or MMS, your sig will appear.

Ah, okay, I see what you are saying now. Thank you for clarifying that. I thought you were saying there was a way to have it automatically add it. Sorry. I misunderstood.
