    how can I delete certin Apps.

    these are the 3 mean apps i want out of my phone/web links:

    Facebook
    TeleNav
    Handango

    can anyone help

    options > advanced options > applications >scroll to the app you want to delete > menu key > delete all three, then perform a Battery Pull.

    Looks like those 3 are the ones pushed by the carriers. You can uninstall them but the only thing you can really do with the icons is hide them. If you delete the service books to get rid of them they will just re-appear on reboot.~via smartphone~

    you can always use your bb device manager, thats how i usually do it but you can do it the way that jllama does it.

    these apps are not in the application screen and when i boot up DM there are not there iether. I guess my only option like in the 8800 was to hide them thanks anyway. thread closed please.

    I didn't even think about the carrier/service book apps and so forth. When you delete them, or never install them to begin with, only the shortcut icon on the homescreen is all you see i believe (app not installed). I have a folder with a few of these unused icons myself as well.
