Housing replacement question
So I understand how to remove the housing and I got one of the screws loose and removed using a Task Force screwdriver, and I just bought another Stanley screwdriver set, but I still cannot remove the second screw. I think I may have messed up the entire screw, does anyone have any idea how I can get it out? I don't care too much anymore if the screw is unusable, but I just want to remove it so I can replace the housing. THANKS!
The screws are torx screws. This might be helpful...Curve Disassembly Instructions:
I know, but I think that I messed up the screw and they don't sell those screw drivers near me. Should I order one online or try to remove the screw a different way, since its "warped"?
Do you have a radio shack nearby? ( I thought they were everywhere). I believe they also carry torx screwdrivers at Lowe's, Home Depot, and perhaps the local auto parts store...
If it's a stripped screw that you're referring to you need something called an "Easy-Out" to remove the damaged screw ... not sure if it comes small enough though. Home Depot etc has them.
