Question. I have my phone set to "lock handheld upon holstering" so that when it is on my hip i do not accidently make phone calls. Is there a way to make it auto unlock when removing it from the holster?

I don't think there's but one way to unlock......yet. Maybe they'll come up with something in the future.

Your phone shouldn't make calls while in the holster. I have never had this happen to me at all. Just take that option off and then it won't be locked when you take it out.

If you put it in a soft "holster" and squeeze it just right so that you press a speed dial it should be able to call - right?

I have the bold holste that came with the phone and have not had this happen. I think when the magnet of the holster shuts off the screen it also puts the phone into a state where the keys won't work
