Hi, i'm new to this forum, and i'm new to the blackberry device as well.

I just got the bb 8320 from t-mobile, and i have no clue how to operate any add on's and whatsoever.

So first off, how many gb's should i get for a mem card?

Second, my internet and email aren't working until thursday, so before then what should i download to get started?

I know you can add weather options and chagne the maps? Can anyone school me on that,

Any other tips would be much appreicated, thanks

    welcome to pinstack

do you have wifi set up in your house? if i'm not mistaken, you should be able to use the wifi to get on the net until acct is activated

your bb will take up to a 4gb MICRO sd card ...

have you installed DM on your PC yet? you will need that before loading apps, unless you use the wifi option to download OTA

    Welcome!

    Suggestions:

AIM: Download JiveTalk (Includes AIM, YIM and MSN) www.beejive.com

It has a 30 day trial, but you have to buy it to continue the use.

The one that comes with the BB sucks.

Yes. Please install the desktop manager and do a backup after you have placed all your contacts and edited your sound profiles.

Actually, I believe T-Mobile includes AIM, Yahoo, and MSN.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ ya but the chat app tmo includes is horrednous! Absolutely nothing beats jivetalk. Nothing. You can always put themes on your phone now, via zip files. You will need to use desktop manager to upload them to your device. When your internet is on tomorrow, then most all apps and themes can be downloaded via ota (over the air.). Check this website for some great apps, tip, and themes.

If you are looking for a weather app, try downloading "weather eye". This app has to be the best weather viewer so far. The best part is that it's free!

Hope this all helps you out and welcome to the stacks

It includes all 4 messengers, but uses texts, and you can only have 1 running at a time.
