    ok so i've had my bb for about a month now and sum how the incoming sound in phone calls just turns off. this is the third time this has happened the first time i took it to verizon and they fixed it but neglected to tell me how to fix it..... then it happened again and sum how i pressed enough buttons lol and it came back on and now it has happened again and i cant for the life of me get it to come back on. i can call and the person on the other end can hear me but i cant hear them.... so if any one knows the trick please let me know asap

    I would suggest a wipe of the device (make sure to back up 1st via desktop manager) and install your carriers latest OS..

    If the issues continue after that then it may be time for a call to your carriers BB support for what perhaps could be a replacement device!

    Ask any questions you might have!

    You're either inadvertently muting it, there's a remedy that needs to be explained to you by Verizon, or they need to replace the device.

    First and foremost insure that its not muted and that your volume us set high enough.

    whoot battery pull worked but i will go on and do the wipe and updated os
    thank you so much. its nice to find a forum with helpfull nice people
