    Since last night, I haven't been able to send/receive e-mails on my Curve, or connect to the internet at all. The service indicator has said "edge" instead of "EDGE" in areas where I have had no problems before. As I typed this, it changed to "EDGE," but still no e-mail or internet! What should I do? I've already tried a battery pull, but apparently that didn't work. All I did last night was delete a couple third-party applications that I didn't want anymore.

    -options
    -advanced options
    -host routing table
    -click on menu button
    -register now

    or

    try resending your service books again thru your BIS account

    silverdreams...how did you download the third party apps and how did you delete them?

    is your browser there?

    Cherri, I downloaded & installed these apps OTA through the browser. I still have the browser, but it won't connect to any sites anymore. I deleted the apps by going to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications, highlighting the application I didn't want anymore, and selecting "Delete" from the menu.

    and you did both or either/or from jgirly's suggestion?

    the host routing table will re-register your handheld...you should get an email (one) saying that the handheld was registered on the network.

    sending service books will send an email confirmation to you for each email account you have set up...so, if you don't receive the email, then you know the service books weren't sent...

    do you remember getting any of those confirmations?

    I did both of jgirly's suggestions, but never received any e-mail confirmations. I then tried deleting my current service books before trying to resend them again, and no change, except now I have no service books and my calender is seriously messed up. *headdesk*

    Silverdreams, you may want to call your carrier to see if they are having any issues in your area. Does your service indicator always say EDGE now or does it go in and out? You won't get any data with the edge indicator.

    Hehe, I tried the host routing table thing again three times in a row, but nothing. I will call AT&T and see if they are having issues, because the indicator is mostly staying at edge, not EDGE. It changed back.

    I called AT&T, and the CSR I talked to was somehow able to push a button on their end to make the internet work again. In order to restore all my service books, however, I had to do a master reset, so I lost a couple calendar entries that I made since the last backup. I also lost my browsers, but resending the service books again fixed that.

    Does anyone have any insight as to what the CSR was able to do so quickly to fix my internet? I'm madly curious. He said, "Let me try something on this end," and suddenly it worked. What the heck?

    They did either one of 2 things. Deleted the bb plan off your account and re added it or they went to a service that repushed out all the features on ur account ota to ur account..if you have any questions about ur account feel free to pm me
