    download the lastest os, install it in your computer, erase the vendor file and then connect your blackberry with the battery out and do the OS upgrade. Good luck, this should do the work for you!

    i have tried it all, going to a shop later so they can do it for me

    he emailed me a pic... he's got the "no factory linked OS" screen...

    thats what you get after you nuke a berry with mfi... but after that he's not able to load an OS... he said that at the end it gives him the error that it failed to connect during a multistage process...

    he doesnt have an OS installed in the first place...

    also, he suggested there's a possibility that the device may not have a PIN or IMEI associated with it...
    i see RED...
