HELP 543 eRROR ON 8300, should I give up on it?

I purchased an 8300 with error code 102 knowing it's a simple OS fix and I could resell at a profit. WRONG!! I have wiped via DM, JL_Cmdr, javaloader all numerous times. I did get rid of Jave error 102 so I was right it was an easy fix, however every time I reload an OS it either goes into a continuous boot cycle or I get error 543. I have tried 4 different versions of the 8300 OS and I downgraded to DM 4.2 and nothing has made a difference. Now this evening while tinkering with JLCmdr I decided to try the reset to factory. When I did this I got a message stating that O.S version 4.3 was required.
Is it possible that somewhere along the line someone actually got an OS for a different device to load on this phone? And if so is there a way to wipe the device further than the standard wipe and if so how?

Please if anyone has any thoughts on this please post as I am at my wits end with it. I have done everything I found on here to fix this issue and nothing has worked. I have probably reloaded the OS 10 times or more. I have also left the battery out of the device overnight hoping it would help and it hasn't.

I hope I'm wrong but I'm thinking I have bought a nice pretty and quite expensive paperweight.

I haven't a clue what all this means, but if someone else does please chime in.

I understand the vendor part and it's an ATT device, but that's the limit of my expertise in this area.

Oh and also, I know that error 543 is:

543 VM_FS_MISMATCH: Incompatible Java filesystem installed The VM has detected that the OS binary is different than the OS binary used to create the Java file system. This means that the Java native methods may not be linked properly and as such, the integrity of the system cannot be guaranteed. The system can be recovered by using the VM DLFX and DLPS commands to delete the fixups and persistent store. This will clear all data and fixups and let the filesystem relink to match the new OS binary. The recovery order is important: 1) Delete Fixups 2) Delete Persistent Store 3) Reset device.

Also how do I delete fixups and persistant store?
