    grrrrr...

so, i decided to try to delete the ptt feature (it worked) but when i tried to unlock my phone's vendor themes, i did something crazy. so, i figured that i should just reload the OS to the phone (the phone was giving all these error codes and didn't look like a curve anymore). anyway, i guess i lost all of my phone numbers and addresses and appointments (which, i guess, i can deal with) because i hadn't backed up the phone yet. however, the biggest issue i have right now is the fact that none of my email accounts have showed up on the phone-- i tried re-doing the whole add email accounts thing but it wouldn't let me redo the same accounts. so, anyone have any ideas what i could do? thanks a bunch.

Yoshido when you reloaded your OS you probably wiped out your service books. You will need to resend your service books. Your profile is not very detailed so I wasn't able to determine what you have going on. Do you know how to resend your service books? Who is your service provider?

Go to Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table. Scroll down to the bold entry. Click the trackball and select "Register Now!"

Hi yoshiod9 and Welcome to PinStack
If you are with ATT, log on to the BIS website and register and you will be able to resend your service books this way:
    http://www.discoverblackberry.com/pe...1/internet.jsp
Click on Cingular here and go through the registration process and you can send service books and
even manage your email accounts online.
As Erica says you will also need to register your Host Routing Table. Do that step FIRST, then do the service book registration>re-send.

Let us know how this goes and if you need any further help.

    Re: grrrrr...

ok, first things first, i re-reloaded my os onto my curve and it ran the setup wizard (like when i first bought the phone) and loaded all of the numbers that were still on my sim card! secondly, i did have to send my service books again but i did it through the set up new email account thing (since i had an old account, i just logged in and there was a link for service books!). anyway, thanks a bunch... i think that i'll leave the whole unlocking of vendors till i'm more advanced at this whole thing. however, i'm pretty sure i can handle the ptt deletion. thanks again, everyone. you guys (and girls) are fantastic!

Glad you got it sorted out yoshio....let us know when you're ready to tackle the unlocked vendor themes. Not so hard to do. Go at it when you get more comfortable with things and do lots of reading here at the Stacks!

Unlocking themes is easy. It took me awhile to figure it out also.

What does it mean when there's no entry in the Host Routing Table? I'm also with AT&T.

    Re: grrrrr...

Gamacky try re-sending your Service Books using the URL I gave above, do a battery pull and upon reboot see if your HRT (Host Routing Table) entries are there. Have you ever done an OS re-install or upgrade? Or is your phone as it was when you purchased from AT&T. Anything installed or changed recently?
