    GPS question

    Advertisement

    Hey everyone, I've got myself a bbcurve 8320 with theatest OS. I recently got a program for GPS routing and mapping.

    When the program told me that my GPS enabled device was not giving it data, I went into the GPS settings on the phone and get this:

    GPS data source -> none
    GPS location. -> on

    When I click 'none' there are no other options available.

    What am I missing?

    Jaricanese is correct... the 8320 does not have onboard GPS.

    I use the Freedom BT puck; phenomenal functionality

    Thanks, R! I agree; I was placed there for that reason.

    Google Maps does not use GPS on an 8320. The 8320 does not have GPS.

    I think it's the 8330 that has GPS.

    Yes... you'll need to get a third-party GPS puck that will pair with your 8320.

    Search for holux m-1200 on ebay. I put mine up for sale. I used it with my old 8100 and my wife's 8320. Worked great. But I now have built-in GPS with my 8900.
