    Standing outside, no obstructions, my gps never found satellites in downtown chicago. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Also in Chicago, and my GPS performance the past few weeks has been really spotty too- although last week was not bad at all. If your settings are correct and it still won't catch a satellite after choosing refresh GPS, what seemed to work for me was to use BB Maps and choosing Where I am under Find location- don't know why or if it really had anything to do with it, but that always seemed to work even when the refresh GPS kept timing out. Hope this helps!

    Make sure Location Aiding is "Disabled". It will not "refresh" if this is enabled.
