I believe there is an option to restore back to factory defaults. Under the options button. if not, I also think you can do it in your desktop manager.

Go into Options>Security Options>General Settings>Hit the BlackBerry Button and select "Wipe Device". From there, type in Blackberry and there you go, just make sure you check "Include 3rd party apps".

Personally, I would download JL_CMDER and COMPLETELY wipe the device and then install an absolutely clean Operating System.

I passed a berry on to a relative once. I ran the Wipe in the on-board tools menu. Imagine my surprise when they found a backup file in device memory of all my contacts.

If it isn't completely stripped, in my opinion it isn't a clean wipe.

If you are selling it I would agree with Sirthinks totally.
