google mail - how to stop replies from showing up?

Hi folks. Anybody that checks a gmail account from their BB should know what I'm talking about, every time I reply to an email on my gmail account, a "new message" shows up on the BB of my sent email. I DO want Gmail to retain messages I send from my BB in Sent Mail, but is there an easy way to stop them from appearing on my BB as a new incoming message? I'm really tired of having to go delete that msg every time I send an email.

    thanks!

    QYV,

Go into the Technical Support Blog link in my signature. You'll find a thread dedicated to this issue.

What carrier do you have? All you have to do is set up a filter. Im on TMO and I just logged into my.tmobile and set up the filter

Make sure to add that you need to update the PIN and IMEI as well
