Question Going from 8900 to 8520?

After having so much fun with my 8900 and it's lovely (sarcasm) trackball, I was wondering if anyone has gone from the 8900 to an 8520 and been happier with that? I'm on Tmobile and I know the 8520 isn't quite the same screen resolution, cam isn't quite as good, and there's no GPS on the Tmobile model, but still...this trackball issue is driving me nuts enough to consider the switch.

no offense to 85xx users, but you wont be gaining that much going to it from an 8900. get the 9700, you will be gaiining a lot. i had a few 8900s and 9000s, and the 9700 is a superior device in virtually every respect.

I agree with the above recommendations to get the 9700... I had the 8900 for a little over a year when I went into a T-Mobile store to check on the family's upgrade dates, they told me that I was qualified under a new (temporary) plan to upgrade my 8900 to a 9700 with no early prices... I think I payed the regular $150 or something like that for a full 2 year upgrade... I was blown away... I had a new 9700 just 14 months after picking up the 8900... needless to say, I very happy with my new device.

    Get the 9700!!!

I'm on the no-contract plan (Even More Plus), so I either have to pay for the berry or have the extra added to my bill every month. So the 8520 looked better pricewise, something like $279 vs $450. But hmmm, if the 9700 is that good...
