    Question Geotagging Photos

I am a current Verizon customer who will be purchasing the 8330 when it is available. I'd like to be able to geotag pictures that I take while I am traveling, but all the applications that I have seen are dependent on the GPS being operable. As with my current 8830, I'm expecting the GPS to be unavailable to any 3rd party applications but was wondering if there are any programs out there that allow you to geotag using cell tower id or cell tower triangulation (similar to how google maps currently works if gps is disabled)?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

My bad-- the application I mentioned is based on GPS not cell-positioning.

Not a problem. So far, the only programs that I have found that allow you to calculate your position without GPS are Google Maps and Navizon. Navizon has the ability to geotag, but it only lets you enter a comment so that others can see it if they are in the area.

Have you tried it? I also have a sprint 8330 and I have enabled geotagging, but the tag shows up somewhere north of India?
