Is anyone having issues getting their backgrounds on the ATT Curve to be full screen... all of mine are seemingly in the movie "widescreen" and don't cover the whole screen...

Sorry, I am not having that problem but I am sure someone will come along with the answer. Good luck!

How are you putting them into your phone? I assume you're using the media manager portion of dm. Have you tried all the different options ie "convert for optimal", "copy w/ no conversion" etc? You should be able to get it squared away using the advanced options tab. Keep us posted.

    What theme are you using?

Some themes, like the default AT&T, Rogers and O2 themes, have fixed banners at the top and/or the bottom of the screen. Try switching to the Today theme or something and test it out.

I am using the Zen Theme and I download pics I like off the internet and shrink them with MGI Photo Suite to 320x240 and they fit like a charm. Takes up the whole screen and will hold me over until someone comes out with some 3rd party themes.

    Peace!

I had the same issue with the Pearl, most default themes have the built in banner. So i started making my own wallpaper's that took up the screen size. With Zen theme worked the best. The downloadable wallpapers most site's give are reduced to fit between the banners.

if you are talking about the pics that you are taking with your curve, then you need to change the setting in options

with camera on, click menu and choose options
change the viewfinder mode to full screen

otherwise, if you are talking about wallpaper, i can resize something for you to fit...or anything in the 8700 wallpaper section will do you just fine.

or...use a wall paper generator. they are all over
