    Very Frustrated w/OS 4.5.0.69 Rebooting..........

I have encountered this before and had some luck with some advice from the Stackers here. The resolution was to take back up my SD card info and reformat the SD card via PC. I did this and it did not reboot for two days. Now it reboots 3 times in the morning and three times in the evening. I have whipped the device and reinstalled the OS again (1.5 hrs.) It worked up til this morning. It has rebooted 3 times at 8:20am and 3 more times while I was on a call.
The BB came back up with 15% battery life. I plugged it into the charger and 10 secs later it shows 80% battery life....

I am at the point of trying to figure out if it is the battery, OS or the device that is causing the issue.

I am chatting with AT&T Customer Service Rep now online....

Any suggestions on the issue of what it could be???

    Thank you in advance!

Don't tell them you are using 4.5! You might have to go back to your previous OS since you having problems.

Can you try reformating the media card within the device itself to see if that doesn't help?

Yes, definitely don't let them know you're running a beta OS on the device as that would void whatever warranty you have left.

I didnt tell them. They are telling me "Mary: Ok, Your phone is out of warranty and I don't see any insurance on the phone If the phone keeps rebooting , it is a equipment problem, you can call the manufacture and ask them if there is something you can do, but I work the network here in tech support and not the equipment, would you like the number to call Blackberry ?"

Okay, did you do the upgrade with the media card in the device?

They are telling me that I am out of warranty... I have not been with them for a year. I have been with them since 11/07. I told her if you count that; its not a year!
She is pissed and getting smart through the IM chat!
I told her that I will call the corp line and talk to them and report her!

Yes they do! If it wasn't for the Bold coming out on AT&T I would have been left them and went back to TMO... I used to be with AT&T for 4 years before switching cause of my wife being on TMO for their mobile to mobile!
I left TMO cause of all the drop calls and always having 2 or 3 bars!

Also, I have copied the chat session and pasted it into word just in case they needed proof!

Well what kind of wipe did you do?

Did you just do a security wipe or wipe the device completely with JL_cmder?

Customer service will never be able to help you with newer OS issues. They're typically pretty behind on that front.
