    Question Free up some memory?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I really need some more memory.

I need some tips on what I can do to free up my memory.. I already deleted my cookies/cache, etc. I close all un-used applications, I've removed some programs that came with the phone that I don't use, and the only aftermarket apps I have is Google Maps, Pocket Express and thats it. Oh, and my iBerry theme. And the only messengers I have are BB Messenger, AIM, and MSN. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,
    -Nic aka neezy

Hmmm, are you storing pics on the device or sd card? Got extra ringtones you're not using? Otherwise you've done everything else. The shouldn't be enough apps to run you out of memory though I've got 16 apps and about as many themes on mine and still have free memory.

How would I go about deleting the extra languages?
And for the pics, I'm storing them all to my 4gig memory card. You mentioned unused ringtones, are you talking about the preloaded ones? Because all my music ringtones are on my media card also.

Try a program called Memory Up. It seems to work very well on my Curve.

It's been awhile since I did that on mine, so I cannot remember. However all you have to do is a search on this forum and you will find the instructions no problem.
In fact in many cases before you ask a question you might check out all the guides and FAQ's already posted as they are very comprehensive and you get the answer to your question and usually end up learning more at the same time.

    Cheers!

    Re: Free up some memory?

There are two easy ways to delete the extra languages. 1. Plug the bb into the computer, open desktop manager and click on app loader, uncheck the boxes for the languages you don't want and then run app loader. 2. Run the setup wizard on the bb, during the process it gives the option to remove extra languages.

    Re: Free up some memory?

Arite, when I updated my OS I only deleted the PTT app and now want to free more memory by deleting all the preloaded pics, preloaded vids, and some preloaded ringtones. Do I follow the same process I did when I deleted the PTT and then reload my OS or what's the deal? If there's a link to a post I havent read, hookin me up with that would be awesome. Thanks.
