It says to go on the Zen theme before deleting any of the defaults. As long as you have the Zen style you should be ok.

About my PIN, I wanted to change it way before. You ended up reminding me.

Delete the HELP and TTY applications.

    Options>Advanced Options>Applications. Highlight and DELETE!

Do you have a hearing impairment? If not, this can also be deleted.

16mb is pretty good! You needn't worry too much until you start getting in the single digit mb range.

I have the same problem. Do you do a battery pull at least once a day? You should always clear your event logs as well. If you run an app like Jivetalk, it will lower your memory throughout the day. Also, since you have 16mb of memory, that means that your memory is pretty low. I would suggest you delete the sample video that came with your phone and at least one theme that came with your phone. You could also delete the preloaded wallpapers that came with your phone. This way, you'll have more memory. It'll save your phone from the lags from time to time.

The above link is for a program that will delete some items from your bb without digging through folders and editing on your computer. It'll remove the stock media files, TTY, voice dial etc. I've had issues with it in removing themes, but everything else works fine. I've deleted most of the items it lists and not had any real issues. It says to switch your theme to the default zen before deleting default themes. I did this last time and still couldn't see any customs. That's the only issue I've had with it. ~via smartphone~

the default themes are needed to see the themes you've downladed from any where if you only have the default zen you anly can add zen themes, give it a try and you'll see, but is hard to find zen custom made themes
When i say i have Bold family phones, I meant it, from the older to the younger, even the unborn ;)
