Question Free device memory: How much is enough?

I keep adding apps to my 8300 and now I'm starting to lose free device memory. Since I deep sixed all of the pre-loaded media and stuff I didn't want I was right at 30MB. Now I'm still sitting ok at around 24MB with 10 apps. But I'm curious is there a general rule of thumb as to how much free memory you should have for the device to operate efficiently?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~just keep it as free as possible and remeber that as time goes by e-mail will consume more and more of it.

Others have recommended a weekly battery pull or reset too. I've found this to be helpful with memory leakage issues and will give me back a lot of device memory that has been lost in process.

I don't know how much is good. I have 35 and run good.
Just remember to keep your logs clear and other data that you don't need.
