    force gprs

When I'm at home or in bad cooverage my curve sometimes switches from EDGE to GPRS and when it does my normally shoddy reception becomes useable, but I can't seem to consistantly get it to switch to GPRS and stay on GPRS. So I was wondering if there is any way to tell the curve to just work on GPRS and then switch it to edge when I'm not at home. Thanks in advance for any help.

Looking in the advanced options and in the network options I can't seem to find any option to force any certain network connectivity.

Ya I went through all the options in the hone to try and find something to tell it to switch, unfortunately it seems to just do it on its own. I was hoping there would be some sort of third-party program or something along those lines that would allow me to force the switch.
