How do you get the freaking case off?

I swear to God I have been trying to get this case off for like 3 days not, just to clean my phone, but that little clip thing isn't budging!

Is there some voo-doo or secret to this?

Bama, did you see this post in ssnxp's review of the case?

Yeah I did, I posted earlier on that thread, but it didn't really help.

I am pushing it down and sliding, but its still a no go.

Try this :P But be gentle. You need to give it a good strong pull, but don't squeeze the sides too hard.

Bump...this method works. I used my fingernail (not suggested if you are not willing to possibily chip your fingernail). I had to do a battery pull and it was tricky but it does come off. Good luck.

I was wondering the same thing yesterday and after breaking both thumb nails, I used a large plastic paper clip in the same way that ssnxp used a small screw driver, then pulled the bottom off. But it was difficult and I hope I don't have to do it again any time soon.

Why yes, that is my Miata. And, yes, it has a Ford 302.

usually an alt+shift+delete will do the same as a battery pull.

With the innocase 2, can you use the RIM charging pod? I see th opening in the back of the innocase 2.

I'm currently using a generic clear hardcase which I like a lot, but I can't use the charging pod I just bought (not realizing it wouldn't work with the generic case).

Not with the case on. But you can just pop off the bottom and leave the top on, and drop the 8900 into the cradle.

I'll check when I get home just to make sure.

I believe Seidio will have a charging cradle design that will allow the case to be fully intact. If you go the website it is listed as coming soon.

Just tried it out and the OEM 8900 cradle works fine if you have the bottom piece off.

Thanks for confirming ssnxp. But I really want to just set and forget. I also saw the seido-branded charger, but man, so many accessories - so little money.
