    Error Message - Messages Application

Lately when I try and open the messages application it takes forever and then gives me an error message. I can't remember exactly what it said, but something about 'not caught' and can't open the messages application.

It eventually opens it up, but it processes it very slowly.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem or is it something with my phone?

    Thank you,

We would def need to know the error. Any other info?

Lets also take a look at your available memory.

Thank you both for responding. I haven't seen the error again, but my phone is definitely running very sluggishly when I am using the messages application.

Gary, right now as I look at my available memory it shows '0' bytes. I have checked it a couple of times and it seems to fluctuate a lot. I don't have any extra apps open that would drain it, but it seems very slow.

    Thank you very much.

That is most likely your issue and will cause sluggish response. Take a look at this thread for ideas on freeing up memory. Do you have much Media on your device? If so an sd card will help. Also if you have added extra themes they are a big memory hog. Keep them on your desktop until you want to use them.

Thanks Gary, I have an SD card in there and dont have much media, what I do have is already on the card. I unlocked the vendor themes too, if that hurts it. I don't have a whole lot of other apps on there, just Viigo and Google Maps, but I never leave them open. Something is sucking down my battery too. I usually have to charge it every other day, in the last few days I'm down to 1 bar by 5pm, with minimal calling or browsing. I'm just very confused, I have to have done something to make it like this, my phone was working so flawlessly to have suddenly gone downhill like this.
