    Hi,

I just got an 8320 Curve today and I am having trouble installing the BlackBerry Desktop installer 4.2
I get an Error 1935. It says it a windows start up problem when I trouble shoot it and I follow the instructions to solve the issue and I still cant get the software to load. I have even disabled my antivirus.

    Can anyone help me?

There is a startup item present in Microsoft Windows XP that is preventing the installation of BlackBerry Desktop Software from proceeding.

Disable the Microsoft Windows XP startup items. To perform this, complete the following steps:
Note: If BlackBerry Desktop Software is currently installed, perform a clean uninstall of the software before proceeding.
    1. On the computer, click Start > Run.
    2. Type msconfig and click OK. The System Configuration Utility opens.
    3. On the General tab, select the Selective Startup radio button.
    4. Remove the checkmark from the box labeled Load Startup Items, and click OK.
    5. Restart the computer, and attempt to install BlackBerry Desktop Software again.

Can you give us the full error messages rather than just the error number.
