    Emails not as quick!

    Hey Guys,

    I've just noticed that my device doesn't pickup emails as quickly as other peoples in the office. We all have the 8330 Curve with Bell Mobility, and for some reason, they receive emails instantly! The same second outlook picks it up, they're BB's are dinging, where it can take up to 10minutes for me to receive mine!

    Ive tried hard/soft resets, resending service books, It really makes me feel like the PUSH email service is non-existent!

    Has anybody ever had this issue? Can somebody help me out?

    If you are using a personal BB on a BIS server and they are using work-issued BBs on a BES server, that is your problem.

    BIS is not true push unless you use your @carrier.blackberry.net address.

    Its all BIS man, we don't have a BES setup yet.
    I thought of that, but still didnt explain how literally 10 other blackberries ding way before I do lool!

    Might it have something to do with Email Reconciliation?
    Ive tried both Mailbox wins, and Handheld wins, still no different.

    Does your device have the same reception level as the others? In my office, some cubes are under more concrete walls and only have 1-2 bars of reception compared to other desks that have full.

    Do a diagnostics check
    Options -> Mobile Network -> (Change option) select Diagnostics Test -> (Change option) Run
    Do this on your BB and one of the other BBs in the office, see if the results are the same.

    Contact your provider and have them check your device on the network to see if there are any issues.
    Maybe a device issue. Still under warranty?

    Ya its actually my second Curve, I had sent the first one in for the same issue, so i doubt its an isolated problem within the device. Reception level is the same, the only thing I can think of is if I had setup my emails incorrectly or if there was something I missed or needed to click.. man im soo out of ideas lol its really annoying!!
